About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and education-driven Head of Curriculum & Programming to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of educational programming across Dance Ed Tips.

This role is responsible for overseeing curriculum, educational products, professional development experiences, trainings, and content strategy — ensuring our resources deliver exceptional value and meaningful impact for educators.

You’ll oversee programming across multiple areas including curriculum development, product education, professional development, live trainings, and educational content.

Dance Ed Tips operates across multiple revenue streams including e-commerce, digital products, curriculum, education, events, and professional development — making this an exciting opportunity for a highly strategic leader who loves both education and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Programming Strategy & Curriculum

  • Lead the overall curriculum and programming strategy for the company
  • Build and maintain educational calendars, product roadmaps, and training schedules
  • Oversee the development of educational resources, curriculum, and professional development content
  • Ensure content quality, educational excellence, and alignment with company goals
  • Analyze customer feedback and performance data to continuously improve programming and products

Product Education & Professional Development

  • Lead the strategy and execution of educator trainings, workshops, and professional development experiences
  • Develop educational support resources tied to products and curriculum
  • Help create engaging learning experiences that support customer success and retention
  • Oversee educational content related to launches, campaigns, and new products

Events & Trainings

  • Oversee the strategy and execution of virtual and in-person trainings and professional development events
  • Coordinate speaking engagements, trade show trainings, workshops, and conference presentations
  • Create agendas and educational experiences aligned with educator needs
  • Coordinate presenters, logistics, and tradeshow communications
  • Track engagement and feedback to improve future trainings and events

Brand Representation & Leadership

  • Represent the company through speaking engagements, trainings, and industry events
  • Help position Dance Ed Tips as a leader in dance education and professional development
  • Lead and support the programming team through communication, coaching, and strategic direction

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in curriculum development, education, instructional design, or programming leadership roles for 8+ years
  • Experience managing teams, educators, or creative contributors
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Experience leading trainings, workshops, conferences, or professional development events
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Asana, Klaviyo, Google Workspace, Zoom, Canva, or CRM systems
  • Experience in dance education, arts education, e-commerce, or online education is a plus
