About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, systems-minded Head of Operations to help lead and scale a fast-growing education and e-commerce company.

This role is responsible for building the operational backbone of the business — ensuring our systems, teams, processes, and customer experience are aligned for sustainable growth. You’ll oversee operations across multiple departments including team operations, financial oversight, systems and technology, and project management.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments, loves creating order from complexity, and enjoys both strategy and execution.

Dance Ed Tips operates across multiple revenue streams including e-commerce, digital products, education, events, memberships, and more — making this an exciting opportunity for a highly strategic operator who loves both systems and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee and optimize day-to-day business operations
• Build scalable systems, workflows, and SOPs
• Ensure alignment across departments and projects
• Lead operational planning for launches, events, and initiatives
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions

Financial & Business Operations

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Monitor operational efficiency and profitability
• Oversee invoicing, contractor coordination, and financial systems
• Partner with leadership on growth and operational strategy

Systems & Technology

• Oversee internal systems including CRM, project management, communication, and automation platforms
• Improve systems, integrations, and operational infrastructure
• Evaluate and implement tools that support growth and scalability

Team Operations & Leadership

• Help lead and support a high-performing remote team
• Oversee onboarding, accountability systems, and team workflows
• Support hiring and operational team management
• Create organizational clarity through timelines, systems, and documentation

Customer & Growth Operations

• Help optimize the customer experience across products and programs
• Track key operational and growth metrics
• Support launches, enrollments, fulfillment, and ongoing customer support

Preferred Experience

• Experience in operations, business management, or project management leadership roles for 8+ years 
• Experience managing remote teams and cross-functional workflows
• Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Asana, Klaviyo, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and automation tools
• Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
• Experience supporting growing online businesses, dance businesses, education companies, or e-commerce brands is a plus
