As the 2018 National Dance Education Organization Conference approaches, I am getting more and more envious of all the dance teachers going this year! Even though I am not attending, (I am in a wedding! J) I felt that it was important for the Dance ED Tips followers to get an inside look of the conference. That is why I am excited to share with you that Elizabeth Zwierzynski is doing an Instagram takeover during her time at NDEO!
Elizabeth is a NJ-based dance educator with experience in K-12 and higher education. She has been teaching for 6 years and created the dance program at Trenton Central High School- Visual & Performing Arts Academy. Elizabeth has a versatile teaching style, which she used to build a comprehensive and high-quality high school dance program for an underserved population. I am excited to watch Elizabeth on her NDEO conference journey because I think her unique background and vast expertise will give us great insights.
In addition to giving us an inside look at the events and workshops at the conference, Elizabeth will be sharing with us her experience as a first-time presenter. Elizabeth is presenting “How to Mazimize DonorsChoose.org: Connecting Donors to Your Program” on Saturday, October 6 in Palantine AB from 9:30-10:30am. If you are attending the conference, be sure not to miss this wonderful and practical workshop! Whether you are attending or not, be sure to check out the Dance Ed Tips Instagram page and story as Elizabeth does her takeover. I am confident that she will inspire many of you to attend next year’s conference or maybe even submit a proposal!
Happy teaching!
Olivia
